I can’t believe it has been 40 days since we saw proof of life pictures…

Has the vet called with a report yet? Does she have to stay overnight?
Yes, she stays overnight. Hopefully she’ll get to come home tomorrow. Vet texted me this afternoon to say the surgery went well and she was out from under anesthesia. So she should be just fine.
Great news! I always get nervous before any anesthesia with my animals, even if it’s something routine.
I’ll have to see what I’ve got on my phone! It’s been NQR lately, so I haven’t taken too many photos. Might have something to do with the fact that the battery is swelling, the back has popped off, and the camera lens no longer likes to focus. But who really knows?
It’s really ok…life goes on outside of this message board. But you did open yourself up to the kitten paparazzi when you first posted.
Get that phone checked out. We can’t have it exploding in your pocket and leaving your critters homeless…
Oh, it’s a Blackberry, not a Samsung Galaxy Note.
Doesn’t matter, it is still a lithium battery.
Well, I was referencing the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note is the phone that caught fire spontaneously due to bad batteries, but whatever.
Guys, Noodle is gone.
I can’t bring myself to talk about it right now. I found her in the cat litter bucket - I don’t even remember getting into it this morning, but I must have. I can’t imagine I would have missed her being in there. I don’t know what happened. I am absolutely beside myself right now.
Mulligan and Schuyler are missing her -
I can’t deal with this. I can’t face not seeing her pretty sweet face in the morning. I am so sorry.
I am so sorry for you. RIP Noodle.
I’m so sorry about the loss of noodle. I rescued two bottle babies and unfortunately lost one to fading kitten syndrome. The other was adopted out.
Lately I’ve been volunteering to do kitten transports and dropping them off with caregivers elsewhere. Picked up 4 kittens one day. Why people wait all day to get kittens into a rescue and then ask for help at 8 pm, I will never understand. Especially when the kittens need to be nursing. Out of the 4 we lost one, but the other 3 are just turning 6 weeks old now and are thriving.
Rescuing kittens is not for the faint of heart. I’m sort of debating on taking on more bottle babies but that’s a 3 week sacrifice where nothing else (much) will get done.
Rest in Peace, little Noodle. You were loved.
Thank you for loving Noodle. RIP.
I am so sorry about your loss.
So sorry about Noodle.
I am so sorry to hear about Noodle.
Oh how awful. Poor little girl. I am so sorry.
On top of all the other crap you are dealing with, you did not need this, too.
I’m so sorry about Noodle.
