He braved the Line of Certain Death! :heavy_minus_sign::skull_and_crossbones::scream:
It’ll be interesting to see if he’s over it now, or will have to screw up his courage next time… & Everafter :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Oh, that photo is a keeper! It marks the first day that Bert got brave.

In those three images above of them running, there is some serious gorgeous confirmation and athletic expression. Jesus.

Bert loves scene stealing.

In that first shot, is Ernie actually stepping towards you to see what you are doing? New body language from hm.

I love the peeking over Bert that Ernie is doing in the last pic!

Good boys! Way to go, Bert. Sometimes progress is just a step at a time. After all, “it’s a dangerous thing going out your door…there’s no knowing wher you might be swept off to.”

Bert and Ernie are saying,

“Pinch Me. Is this for REAL???”

Hoping for food - always hoping for food :joy:

I’m afraid Peach isn’t the best influence for pasture living; he tends to want to hang out at the front and wait for more food, even when he’s surrounded by food (grass). He definitely prefers the room service paddock life  I’m still throwing alfalfa and grain so it’s not like they aren’t getting fed, he just has expectations.

So Peach is a great example to teach them that humans are a great thing and one should always be around when the humans are around.

Go Peach!

Yes! He’s a good ambassador, and they do eventually go graze after a while. It seems he may be sharing the leadership role with Bert now, but they all get along SO well.

Now, if it would just quit raining so much. Everything is a sloppy mess. :expressionless:

You’ll likely be dryer than a popcorn fart soon. Your boys look great, and Peach teaching B&E that humans are a source of good things is a good thing. They’ll look at you as a source of yummies and scritchies.

It’s been pretty wet so far this year, but we’ll see. Two months from now I’ll probably be wishing for a breeze, nevermind a few drops of rain :joy:

Where I live we wish for a good breeze (in the land of the great white north) in the summer, but the winds the last couple of years have been insane. I have a burn pile in my backyard that I’ve been concerned about starting out in even a tiny amount because of the wind. The only time the wind seems to let up when I don’t have the time or energy to spend waiting it out.

This is also my life right now :joy: this weather is :-1:t3: raining and windy or hot and muggy. I’ve been hosing the horses down once to twice a day. Sure would love some 70 degree weather right about now haha
