I am in the market for a trailer, and saw a Morgan Built (about 15 years old, looks to be in great shape) that seems to check off all my requirements. Does anyone know anything about them? It is a 2 horse slant. I think they are similar in price range to Trails West or Circle J trailers?
I had one that I bought new in '08 I think it was. Held up fine, it was a 2h bp, ended up selling it this March for about $500 less than I paid. I only hauled 1 horse with it, and there was some minor rust from it living outside most of the time. It hauled well, and was a great first trailer for me.
I had one for 11 or 12 years - a three horse slant bumper pull. I LOVED that trailer! Paid something in the $6500 range for it and could have sold it for as much 12 years later (I ended up trading it in for my new trailer, which meant I got less for it - $4500 or so IIRC?). Mine was was a modified stock trailer (open on the back side, regular drop down windows/bars on the front side) and I routinely hauled 3 large horses in it. Definitely not as much room as the 4H Featherlite I have now, but it sure did the job well for a long time!
