I have narrowed it down to one of these two very affordable tall boot options for winter riding & light barn chores.
Looking for any feedback or experiences with either of these two boots.
Thanks in advance!

I’m very happy with my Mountain Horse boots in the winter. My toes are toasty warm even below zero. I splurged for these Stella model Mountain Horse boots because of fashion, I thought they look nice.
I enjoy wearing them and feel “elegant” so I guess it’s worth extra $60. Mine are two years old and look new.
I just purchased the Dublin Estuary tall boots and I’m finding them to be extremely warm, especially since my toes have plenty of room for wool socks.
I have some old Ariat insulated paddock boots and I’ve hardly ever worn them. They are almost too warm. Although, I haven’t lived anywhere terribly cold since I got them. I’m sure, if I still lived in CO, that I would want the warmest boots I can find.
My husband has tall Mtn Horse field boots and I have a Mtn Horse coat. Great quality and I would not hesitate to buy something else of this brand.
Sorry nothing helpful here I’m also looking. But Daisyesq is that 0 fahrenheit? About -18 Celcius? That would be perfect for me.
Also OP not sure which of the Ice riders you are getting or where you’re from but Greenhawk has 2 versions and one is $20 cheaper.
I have had two different pairs of Mountain Horse - an old Rimfrost Riders, and now Stellas. I’ve been very pleased with them.
I ordered the Tuffrider Fleece-lined Tall Boots. I read too many online reviews about the stiffness of the Ice Riders. Guess we’ll see if I made the right choice or the wrong one!
I have the Tuffriders - I quite like them! They’re warmer than I expected and quite comfy - I’ve only had them through 2 winters but they’re showing no signs of wear.
My tuff riders split in 3 rides and were returned. I just got the mountain horse ice riders and they are definitely stiff, but ooh much more durable. A friend at the barn has had hers for 2 years and says they soften as you break them in.
I’ve had a pair of Ice Riders for several years now and I’m quite pleased with them, warmth-wise. The toes are a bit bulky but they still fit in my stirrups.
Guess I chose wrong
The Tuffrider Fleece-lined Tall Boots arrived this week. I was excited, because they were very nice looking, for inexpensive boots. The footbed was also very comfortable.
Unfortunately, as I put them on tonight for the first time, the zipper immediately split They didn’t even make it to the barn. They’re going back tomorrow.
Wow, sorry to hear that! Maybe I managed to get the one good pair!
