Hi, with the planned off-line period and redesign upload, I’d really like to send my pm’s to my farm email, so that I have them safe. I am obviously not techy, or i’d have figured this out. Congratulations on taking the leap, a redesign is a lot of work, but I know the core of the Chronicle will always remain true to their mission! Will be waiting with bated breath to see the new site! I don’t think you can directly do that. However, you can save them all as a text file on your computer. If you really want them in your email you could then email that file to yourself.
To save them just go to the bottom of your inbox where it says “Download all private messages as: XML CSV Text”. Click on Text and save the file as it prompts you.

You can’t directly transfer your PMs to an email format, but you can save them all in a document on your computer.
When you have your PM inbox open, scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you’ll find a “Download all Private Messages as: XML, CSV or Text” option. You can pick one of the three formats and save everything to your desktop so you have everything as a back up.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to back up all of the messages, you can select different messages by checking the box after the ones of interest, then select “Download as…” from the Selected Messages drop-down menu at the bottom of your list of PMs.
You could sort of transfer them to your email if you have your options set so that you receive an email notification when you receive a new PM. You could go through and forward your current PMs to yourself, so that an individual notice of each message, containing the content of each message, would arrive in your email inbox. That method could be very unweildy if you have a lot of PMs however.
