I’m so sorry.
Her seizure sounds like the ones that my Mick had in the days before I had to have her put to sleep. So it’s possible that she would have continued to have them over the next few days.
Hugs and jingles to you.

I’m sorry too💔.
What a wonderful life you two had together, 19.5 yrs!
My heart is with you as you navigate your new normal. You have expressed so much love for your cats in previous posts. Take some time for yourself to heal.
Oh @Rackonteur I am so sorry. You must be devastated. You did the right thing, of course, but the hole in your heart and life will hurt so much. I am hoping that you might find another, maybe older kitty, to fill the void. I would be happy to sponsor that, if you are so inclined.
Such a long time with your kitty love, even though it never seems like it’s enough
I lost my first cat that I got as an adult at 19 1/2 years and yes, it was such a hurt to my heart. Give yourself a little time to heal and you’ll soon only remember all the love and good times you shared.
“I have felt perpetual gratitude to heaven for having given me, in you, a source of so much pure and unmixed happiness.”
That is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I’m sorry for your loss, Rackonteur.
Oh I’m so sorry about your kitty. But she had a good long life - you were clearly doing something right to have her live so long. It’s so hard after you have had them all their little lives. Again, I’m sorry.
Thank you all so much for your posts.
Today is actually much worse than last night was.
It was so good to come here and read your words. Y’all get it, and sad though that is that you know what it’s like, it helps to know other people get it. So thank you all for posting.
Today I have been thinking about the possibility of getting another companion cat to care for and to be a furry purry companion. There are so many out there, right here in my area. But I am always so broke.
I have missed y’all.
Thank you very much. That means a lot. I think I would like having another cat around for company and to give one a happy quiet home. Velvet and I did that years ago for two oldies who belonged to relatives who could no longer keep them, at separate times.
That is so lovely.
Thank you very much. I have missed being here.
I added a second cat about a month ago as a friend for Tater. There was never any singing and no fighting, but Tater is beginning to play with Brimstone. He is going to be an awesome cat. I hope you can find another that is in need of a home.
{{{HUGS}}}.
Always hard but the right thing to do.
Could you do some fostering? That empty house is not nice.
I’m sorry you lost your companion
I’m so sorry for your loss. She enjoyed a good long life with you, but it’s never long enough. I just lost my Bing this summer, too. I found him as a stray kitten and he was about a month shy of turning 21 when he faded away and passed on. I’m sure another cat would be grateful to come into your life. Hugs to you!
Thank you.
Brimstone. I love the name.
Thank you. I am very sorry about Bing. What a good long life he had with you.
Thank you.
No, you are right. One of the rescues here does fostering and I have been thinking about it.
