I think they are doing whatever it takes to sell vicious dogs to laypeople while avoiding liability.
Do you know how “badass” a 25 year old tough guy would feel acquiring a dog with “military training?”

Coanteen-Both of them were ‘former employees’ very quickly at VLK, and I think were canned immediately. Apparently they still run their own protection dog kennel. I’m not sure they really still worked at VLK, because another family member said the “parents were between insurance because of the move”, and opening the business. My personal guess is that the VLK people found out about the side business after the attack. They now operate out of another state. There are also several other kids in the home, and I’m assuming the little kid with the GSD is one of their kids. I think the battle buddy dogs are for emotional support dogs for vets, judging from the name.
VLK from what I saw on the show, and other articles, keep their dogs on site, so something was really strange about the attack case, and the two adults involved. I can’t believe their sales web site for the dogs either, after what happened in their house. I wonder if the Rottweiler was actually from VLK, or if it was a dog the two people obtained elsewhere, or trained by themselves? I guess we’ll never know.
I feel so sorry for that poor child, and for his father. The dad lived elsewhere, and was actually out of town when the attack happened. I can’t imagine getting a phone call about your child being killed.
