Ok I have had piggies forever and never had one chirp. I thought that I had a bird in the house. It was so weird. And he was really acting bizarre too. I brought in some veggies and he snapped out of it pretty dang quick and I researched it and it is uncommon but not unheard of…so doesn’t anyone else have a chirping guinea pig? And did it seem like your piggie was having a strange kind of out of body experience like mine? Just weird. I guess you learn something new every day.

Those are pretty spoiled pigs. I have a cage similar to that but nowhere near as elaborate. Looks like she had a decorator do her cages LOL My piggies are spoiled but not that spoiled. They have a top deck with little huts and all their food. But no flowered support posts.
That is bizarre! And she (piggie in video) doesn’t really seem upset. Just kind of… Hanging out. Chillin’ and singin’.
all of the lit says chirping is rare and most people cannot figure out the trigger. most think it is in the range of “happy” sounds.
