My Stallion's first hunt!!

We took my boy out for his first hunt this past Wed. He was a champ. Better than most of the horses there, and a perfect gentleman. The master was very impressed with how behaved he was and he was welcomed back. His rider said he is the easiest horse she has ever taken out, and she hunts all the time, just never had the chance to take him till now.

I am so happy and wanted to share some photos of his big day: http://www.goldenventurefarm.com/MaxHunt.htm

Hope to get him back out soon.

Shazam! He looks great!

He’s so cute in his oh-so-neat dressage frame. It’s like he’s telling the others “Uh, guys. You’re supposed to trot with your head like this. See?”

Wow! I loff him! He is gawh-geous! He has a very calm, wise expression in every shot.

I’ll take my notebook computer out to my mares so they can ooh and ahhh over him.:lol:

Make sure to keep some covering certificates on hand in case the rider falls off

Very handsome!! Waterwitch–too funny!! :lol::lol::lol:

OMG is he fine! So fancy!

Lovely website too.

Ok, just finished looking through his photos…wow. I’d breed my mare to him in a heartbeat! What an athlete!! You should be so proud.

Delkredere is on the side right now, so I’ll pipe in for her.

Max is a Dutch Warmblood/Saddlebred cross… he’s all DWB until you get to his ears

I’ve been around this boy and can tell ya… he is very well behaved, such a gentleman and you’d never know he’s a stud. Even waltzing around a busy trade show, with mares, he never even looked twice.

Thanks Chocomare. I am still drooling. I don’t think I’ve laid eyes on a more perfect horse! His jump…his movement…his color…

He has a new fan.

Well, I love spots and I love buckskin, so what’s not to love. He is gorgeous.

Oh my. He is too cute, and you both look great!

Nice horse!
Looks like he did very well his first time out.
Here’s to many more!!

Thankn you everyone for the nide cooments  He did so well, not unexpected, because this is normal for him, but you never know how they will act out in such a new situation like this. The dogs, the horses, the horns, the whips, the galloping in the field, etc. This just is a testament to his wonderful temperment even more. I am so lucky to own such a good bay. His rider loves him too and had a blast!!

Handsome lad!

(please, do suggest to your jockey that she sorts out her chinstrap, though  )
