Myopia Hunter Pace Thank You!

I’m not sure if this is the right location, but I wanted to give a big thank you to Myopia Hunt for the hunter pace today. I had a blast with my mare at her first hunter pace! It was a fun course with plenty of room to gallop along the hay fields. We were right behind the group of kids dressed as caterpillars, they were adorable.

And the provided lunch? Wonderful. There’s nothing like a burger and cider after a nice gallop. Thanks to everyone that made the hunter pace possible!

Yes, thank-you to Myopia indeed! There were 315 horses and over 100 teams at the pace yesterday (11/7) and half of them signed up the day of!

I can’t imagine the scrambling the organizers had to do to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The awards supper was fantastic, for anyone who didn’t come back for that in the evening, you should! It’s well worth the extra trip.

And thank you to John Miller, from Spectrum Photography, for standing out in the cold all day taking 1400 photos! Hopefully he’ll have them posted soon.

I loved the Caterpillars! Did you see that they came back from the check as Butterflies?
