I have a saddle that I bought used from Dominion in VA in the mid-90s that is stamped Ideal Saddles with Harrods London nail heads. It appears to be an all-purpose saddle. I didn’t pay much for it, but it’s been a great saddle. I’ve always wondered about the origins of this saddle but can find nothing about it online. Does anyone know anything about such a saddle? I haven’t reached out to Ideal yet because I think mine predates the current Ideal Saddlery. I have reached out to Harrods and they’re looking into it. Any help solving this mystery is greatly appreciated.
