Just heard today that, sadly, the week-long event for seniors is not being held this year due to prevailing economic conditions.
Thankfully, the Junior Championships appear to be well under way.
Also, on November 8th, the one-day Virginia Field Hunter Championships will be held as usual. (This is the event where each hunt can send 1-2 members to represent them).
Well, that’s a bummer for many, I’m sure.
Looking forward to Sunday morning cubhunting in VA on my whirlwind tour this weekend! Not the solid month of VA hunting I so richly deserve, but far better than nothing!
