Name That Guinea Pig.

I went to pick up a couple saddles yesterday and the lady I was buying them from had eight guinea pigs she was trying to rehome. They had been left at an auction after a woman had paid for them, so she was asked to take them home.
Being the cavy lover that I am, I couldn’t resist taking one home with me. Plus, she was just $5

She’s not too old, still growing. So far, she’s been the quietest guinea pig I’ve owned and pretty shy right now. I don’t think she’s had a lot of handling. I think she was a bit of an outcast among the other cavies, as one of her ears is a bit torn up and she was cast off in the corner away from the others.

Anyway, she needs a name and I can’t come up with anything good! The best suggestion I’ve received so far is, wait for it…

Toaster Strudel. Because she came home in a Pop Tart box

So, this is where I look to you folks for some name suggestions!

I love whoopers and would have one in a heartbeat but sadly I’m allergic. I think Autumn would be a good name (bit more serious) for her. What a cutie…

Lucky

(yes, pig story behind that name)

Poppy…(for the Pop Tart box)

I love the calico wheekers! My sister used to have a calico cat named Paisley because of all the different colors.

I like Poppy, too.

I like Poppy, but DH said no as it reminds him of his recently deceased grandfather :frowning:

I thought of Autumn on the way home. I also like the idea of Clementine.

Did he come in a Pop Tart Box too? Or was he cremated and buried in one?

 He did own a funeral home, so I’m sure he could have easily been buried in an oversized Pop Tart box if he wanted. But no, all the grandchildren called him Poppy.

There’s a pig named Poppleton in a children’s book series. I like boyish names for girls, so I’d say call her Poppleton or Mrs. Poppleton.

Funny, how the suggested names all start with “p”. My suggestions before seeing her were Penelope or Priscilla, somehow Guinee pigs always bring to mind “England” English names.
I looked at her pic and Ozzie came to mind. She needs a pop star name, so she can grow into being outgoing, loved by all and a tiny bit of a Diva

I used to have a tri-color gp named Truffles. Also had others named Gizmo, Linus, Rhiannon, (Annie), Jesse, Panda, Quizzer, Reesie, and Sadie.
