I am surprised that no one had posted about this sooner. Nancy was a bright light in our field, and will be sorely missed. There were very few in the Chicago and Mid West area, whose lives she didn’t touch.

So sad! I just spoke to her week 10. She was always so kind and a crazy good horsewoman

I am so sad to hear this. Although I never knew her, I certainly knew of her reputation and how well respected she was as a horsewoman, its a great loss to the equestrian community.

Oh no thats so sad. Nancy was my first trainer way back in the early '70s at Blue ribbon stables in Northbrook Illinois she is the one that got me hooked she was always so nice and such a wealth of knowledge!
