National Barn Company

Has anyone used National Barn Company to build a horse barn? They gave me a very reasonable quote for a 5 stall barn but I really know anything about the company.

I have Morton coming out to give me a quote also, while I know they are a great barn everyone says they cost quite a bit more than other builders; I’m not sure I’m willing to invest the extra $$.

Know any other barn builders in the Deep South?

I had National Barn Company put up a 30x50 for me that we use for hay storage and a workshop. It’s been up about 8 years now and still looks new.

Everything comes in on a truck and is unloaded next to your barn site, then the building crew arrives a few days later, within a few days my barn was up and ready to use.

I have a friend that had them build his horse barn, stalls on one side, hay storage/grooming area on the other and he was very happy with it.

My coworker had a barn put up by them and she was quite happy with it. Our power coop sends us a magazine once a month and in the back are dozens of barn ads, National was one of the few that would handle building as well. (we are in the middle of taking bids, unfortunately the lovely big barn DH wants is a little too big for the budget!)

There is a very large case against Lowell Thomas and the NE division of National Barn underway in PA. They are trying to find as many victims as possible, if you are a victim please call Detective Merwede of Penn Township at 717-637-8751.There will also be a Sherriffs Sale on 15 JAN at National Barn in Hanover, PA to sell off equipment, etc to raise money for victims.

I had a barn built by this crook 3 years ago and it is a piece of crap, I look at it everyday and hate it!!!

My stepdad had a workshop built by National Barn in Tennessee in 2001. It still looks new and he has no complaints. The price was very reasonable IIRC and it was installed in a few days.

National Barn TN Division and National Barn NE Division are two different animals!!

The PA office covers all of the NE, including VA, MD, DE, PA, NY, etc. The TN office has gotten great reviews and continues to do great barns. Hopefully the NB NE office will be taken back over and will re-bound!!
