Nationals 2020

Now that the USDF website is back up and running I went to check on the status of declarations for Dressage Nationals. Normally they already have declarations as to be eligible to nominate you must have declared prior to the start of your regional championships. So far nothing and next month marks the start of regional competitions. Not sure that we need to have nationals at this time but if they are going to hold it then the information needs to be shared. Anyone have any information to share?

I suspect they are probably late getting up to speed on whose qualified, etc, over the last few weeks due to the technical issues. Probably just running behind getting it all sorted after the website being down.

The last I heard from someone whose insider knowledge I trust, it was still a go as of last week.

As Feathered said, it is probably a side effect of the long term outage of the website more than anything else.

They are probably still discussing what, if any, changes are going to be made regarding qualifications, declarations, and nominations. Especially with one region already having cancelled their regional finals.

Not Finals related but I just emailed asking if the criteria for All Breeds was going to be changed for this year, the reply was that at this time there were no changes. I think they’re taking a wait and see approach on a lot of things. I know we won’t have 8 scores for this very abbreviated season.
