Nationwide uniformity in Racing Regulation and enforcement

Is it time for an actual National Governing Board for racing? Thoughts? Do we really want suspended in one state, competing in another to be our example to the public?

Thanks for posting that. But does that mean oversight over whats allowable or just the testing? Meaning, for example, Lasix is allowable some places not others. Will there be a uniform standard of what is tested for as well as testing procedures?

Difficult to defend the sport sometimes.

Not sure, would have to read the bill. The oversight committee may need time to develop protocols and standards.

It’s been time for a National Governing Body and Uniform Medication rules for decades, so yes. I too have not read it so am not sure what exactly the specifics are but it seems like a huge step in the right direction.
