NBC Opening Ceremony teleacst tonite (Sat) in SOME markets

OK, the Cincy based NBC outlet, WLWT, is listed in various independent sources and has on their website they will be carrying the 2 hr Ceremonies from 7 to 9 EDT tonite.

It is NOT on NBC in Dayton, up the road 30 miles so I imagine it is not going to be broadcast in most markets nationwide.

Also, could be wrong on this but it looks like it is bumping the premier of the much hyped can’t miss an episode or you will never figure it out The Event and leading into the premier of The Chase at 9 (with a weaker lead then The Event) so bet the old switchboard will be lighting up and e mail, tweets and FB crammed with complaints.

Now, assuming the WLWT website is correct and this is actually going to be shown, the techno geeks amongst us can find that feed, maybe? Or be able to watch it later on the WLWT website? Or the NBC website.

Since it is bumping The Event and is also available in HiDef, I am assuming it is an NBC network option for their individual stations to air or not.

Anyway, it’s out there, somebody more skilled and with more time can dig into that. I have no idea about Louisville or Lexington. If they do run it, I will send them a thank you e mail and so should anybody else who watches.

It’s on here, two hour block tonight for the opening ceremonies, an hour and a half tomorrow 12-1:30 and its on Sunday 10/3 from 1PM to 6PM. I am in the Lexington area (45 mins away)

It’s not on here, Illinois. :frowning: I’m having to buy the FEI subscription to watch, but that’s ok. Now I can see everything!

Possibly you need to go to your NBC network channel then bump it up to the .3 digital channel ?? Like here in Denver I will try channel 9.3 That worked for the World Cup telecast a couple years ago.

Leaving tomorrow morning - very excited to see the arena and see that I will have good seats for the reining individual qualifier.

That is why I posted this, if its out there being broadcast, it can be pulled down off the satellite or viewed on various web pages later.

Hey, Plumcreek? Welcome to my little corner of the world. It’s cool and, unfortunatly, brown and dry-not unlike where you live. ENJOY.

They put alot of money into the sand-which comes off the top of the footing for the Jumping. I heard you can turn and burn/ride and slide with ease;).

You can watching the opening ceremonies free on http://www.usefnetwork.com/WEG2010/

I’ve tried USEFNetwork several times today and so far, it has not worked.

Update:

AHA it is working now! Really well!

Merci, USEFNetwork!

Here (Oregon) they’re showing the opening ceremonies and some reining tomorrow morning on NBC.

well, just went back to USEF Network and the stream is working perfectly!

so THANK YOU USEFNetwork!!!

What about on DirecTV?

Alas, our internet is not really fast enough to make a live internet stream very watchable. If they’ll have the equivalent of “tape delay”, that could work though, because then I can ahead on the buffer.
