From the USEA website:
2008 Marks the First Time Equestrian Events Will be Available in Their Entirety…
That is great!!!
WOW! I guess I am not going to get much work done now
I am confused
I read the announcement there and on the NBC site.
I am confused. Do we have to purchase a subscription to something or register our email?
I followed one link and it took me to my local cable TV station. I would have to purchase an additional digital package to get the Oxygen station.
It talks about two or three ways to receive the stream. One is pod casts on the NBC site which I understand. But, I do not understand the other two.
Awesome! I am so not getting any work done during the Olympics, LOL.

Did you go to this site?
http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/index.html
I am annoyed that it does not work on my G4 Mac.
ETA: You might have to download “Silverlight” from this site
http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/default.aspx
Yes I already had that site bookmarked
Thanks for your thoughts Cookiepony.
I already have “Silverlight” and I have watched those videos.
I was wondering about the live streaming.
Will we be able to watch live streaming on the computer?
bad link
When I went to the USEA press release, the hyperlink to NBColympics.com
is bad. Instead it brought me to a website called nbcOLYPmics.com -very confusing.
Use this one instead
http://www.nbcolympics.com/equestrian/index.html
If you go to the tv/on-line page of www.nbcolympics.com, then search for equestrian events on a particular day, you will see both the tv and on-line streaming schedule.
This is great except for all of us with MAC computers. IIs it true that we can’t use any of this?

Yep. Unless you have an Intel chip in your computer (you purchased in 2006 or later) you (we) are out of luck.
Sucks, no?
