Prior threads seem to be very old. Looking for a new Double that will not break the bank. I have one Pana Cavallo for my other horse, love that but cant find anymore. The horse in need is borderline cob/full depending on the brand, I dont have exact #'s but will be remeasuring.
Everyone’s bank has a different breaking point, lol. What is the limit you are willing to pay?

My preference would be to stay in the$300 - $400 range - or less, lol. Edited to add - I do not need reins.
Lumiere is having a sale right now through 12/31 and they will swap out parts for you if you need, for example, a full head stall and cob cheeks and noseband. I’ve bought a couple snaffles from them and am quite pleased with the quality and features for the price. I may end up with a double from them as I don’t love how the headstall on my passier double is sitting on my horse and the head stalls on the Lumiere snaffles are nice.
I have had a warehouse snafu and delayed delivery both times I’ve ordered from Lumiere, but both times the owner of the company responded to me directly and resolved the problem and sweeten the deal. Three friends have ordered from them with no problems and quick delivery. So I think I’ve had some odd luck but have been pleased with the resolution.

This has been suggested before - but do check it out - Schneider Saddlery has an excellent line of English leather bridles with the Joseph Sterling label. It’s a lovely bridle for the money - well under
$300. it does come with both snaffle and curb reins. . . but if you don’t need them, pack them away for a rainy day. But it’s seriously nice for the price. www.sstack.com.
