Need Advice on Aloof Foal - Update Post 19

Thank goodness for itchy babies!! I rely heavily on the “scratching” training method for the babies:yes:

I noticed with my filly that was born last year that her personality is completely different from her mom’s (I had grandma, so this is 3rd generation). Both are well behaved, but this filly is VERY opinionated! I have never seen a horse get so mad if you are not scratching her in the correct place or the correct way! She is well behaved (nothing naughty), but boy she can pin her ears and give you the evil glare. I think her mom just internalizes anything that she doesn’t like.

This filly actually reminds me a bit of all the horses that I have ever owned all mixed together. She is very athletic and an amazing mover.

She has taught me to embrace the differences in personality and love what you get. Hey, we are all different too!
