Help! I have the fence all run and jumpered together, I just need to charge it. I need it hot for tomorrow, otherwise I would just call them directly tomorrow, they’ve been great so far, but the paperwork/ instructions that come with it are lacking.
So I have the black and green cables that I need to run from the fence to the charger, and I have the golf ball shutoff. Is the green cable run to the positive, that would make sense to me, because there was a note that said positive is on the top, but my husband says the black is always positive. I have the tape that is two color, green on top brown on bottom. I jumpered the green tops with the green cable, and the brown bottoms with the black cable. It also only came with two lugs for the cables back to the charger. So do I strip the other end of the wire and just wrap it around the charger connections? Or do I need to go out and buy two more lugs to crimp on today?
And where does the golf ball shutoff go? I would assume it would interrupt the positive, but the connectors are black. I’m so confused. I want everything to be color coded, my husband says that’s not how it works. Ugh!!!
