[h=2]Need show name ideas![/h] [h=2]4yo grey OTTB mare. Would like to use either the word ‘Silver’ or ‘Echo’ if possible. Other ‘E’ or ‘S’ names would be good, too. She is petite, feminine and sporty, soft spoken/non-dominant personality, light/soft/open mover. Will be used as an eventer and as a cross to our WB stallion. I am not interested in relating to her current JC registered name or to names in her pedigree at this time. Thanks![/h]

My new mare (the black one I just posted pictures of on FB, and who’s also on my website) was born in an E year and named Evita and I absolutely love saying it (I don’t always feel that way about my horses names, lol!). So at the moment that’s my favorite “E” name, though it may not be complex enough to be the show name you’re looking for.
Thanks guys! After spending more time with her today, I’ve decided to use Echo as a barn name. It really suits her. I’d love to find a way to either tie that into her show name directly or to use a more formal sounding ‘E’ word, or to use Silver something still (it was part of her dam’s name) for the show name.

Since we name many of our horses after craft beers based on the title I was going to suggest Smuttynose, but that won’t fit her at all! How about show name Eclat to go with barn name Echo? It means brilliant display or effect JIC.
