Need some Jingles for Baby Finnegan

Some jingles for Finnegan appreciated - he started getting the sniffles last night, and is now full-blown upper respiratory infection mode. He has an appointment for 4:15 today. He’s still eating, but he’s definitely not playing or running around like he was yesterday. Hoping we can get some meds on board and get him back where he should be. He’s already had it so tough, and he’s only 6 weeks old.

No vet will agree - but raw goats milk is a miracle drug. I have had it help so many sick foster kittens, as well as my personal pets.

Raw is best, but grocery store is better than nothing. Higher end pet stores sell it frozen.

Hope the little guy bounces back quickly.

Jingling for Finnegan to “Begin Again” - for those of us old enough to know 🫠

Okay. He had a temp of 103.4, and the wheezing is a little better, but he’s still congested. Lungs sounded clear. He’s on 7 days of antibiotics. He slept most of the afternoon, and is acting a little more playful now. :smiley_cat:

He’s already feeling better. I almost feel like a mom who has just realized her kid lied about being sick to stay home from school.

Please ignore the state of my carpet. I haven’t had a chance to vacuum lately.

Now,now, I doubt he was trying to get out of school

Looks like you caught it before it had time to turn into a major problem. He’s too cute to ever do anything bad. :revolving_hearts:

So glad he’s on the rebound!

I have a question about the sniffles. My new cat has started sneezing. He was fine when he got here, and he started sneezing a day or two ago. Should I take him to the vet? He isn’t bothered by it but he IS sneezing.

Is it possible he is allergic to something at your home?

IDK I have no idea what it would be. I am going to wait a bit befire I rush him off to the vet though. Maybe he will be like Finnegan, and it will blow over. I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks for the thought.

I periodically bring home a kitty upper respiratory infection without touching any outside cats. Maybe on my shoes?

But healthy adult cats usually shrug it off with nothing more than some sneezing for a few days unless their immune system is compromised, so I’d definitely wait and see, with the full disclosure that it will probably infect all your cats.

Hope he’s ok!
