Just thought I would start a survey of gas prices around the country. Gas had been up as high as $1.54 about 2 months ago… (This is in Lexington, KY)
Is that USA or Canadian dollars???
Average down here in Orange County is $2.05. I try to wait to fill up near my barn where it is a mere $1.91.
1.19 for reular the thursday before the 4th. I can always drive 50 minutes to Lexington to save the other couple of cents. Telling you folks this is a good place to live.
Well, it was my brother who told me it was 53.9, and my mom saw 56.9, but I didn’t see any with my own eyes. I don’t know why it’s so low now, but I’m not complaining! I don’t think we ever got into the 80s though. The highest I remember seeing was 79.9. If our prices are going down, then yours will too, I hope.
Up here, smack dab in the middle of DC and Baltimore, the Cheapest stuff is about $1.76 a gallon. I was down in DC yesterday and supreme was $2.06 I HAVE to put atleast the middle stuff in my chariot (91 grand wagoneer, wood paneling and all )or he shakes so much stuff just starts falling off and the cheapest I’ve found that is around $1.80…MAYBE $1.70 at the FreeState station
Hmm…I saw $1.41 yesterday. So I’m in the middle? Still wanna move to Kentucky…

Yuma, AZ on I-8 freeway, now $1.57, of course was $1.62 when I filled my truck Monday.
If you want the price to go down send ME to fill my truck, wait one day, go save .05/gallon on yours.

You think you have it bad one station I saw yesterday was $2.07. I filled up across the street for $1.79.
In the upper Midwest, today it stands at 1.46 for the cheapo unleaded. Down from 1.89 6 weeks ago, its been going down pretty steadily. Make sure and fill tanks before they jack up prices for the holiday!!
I’m right off of I-75, NW of Atlanta.
A gas war has started out here between the Texaco and Murphy (WalMart). Dropping like a rock:
87 Octane is $1.15. Suppossed to go down again.
Lines are forming with folks from closer into the city.
$1.79 to $1.75 in two days right in Southampton !!!
1.37 and holding near LaCrosse, WI.
My job is 1/4 mile away, the barn is 3 miles, thats the only reason i can afford to gas up the truck!
Ours is DOWN to $1.52
We’re the equivalent of $3.00+/gallon.
In case you hadn’t noticed, there is a big savings if you get away from the DC Metro area. We live in Fairfax (uber-developed relatively close-in suburbia, for those of you from elsewhere) but usually ride outside of Warrenton (about 40 miles west into exurban bucolica), and there is a price difference of about 25 cents per gallon. So we only fill up when in Warrenton if at all possible.
