I know my father got quite upset with our neighbor mowing a section of out property when we firdt moved in because he said if they thought they were taking care of it they might think they could claim it as theirs via the encroachment
The neighbor might have thought his property extended further and thinks youre encroaching
This is the Mississippi Gulf Coast and its really hot in the summer. Mow at night is not that unusual. I actually like the sound of a tractor, burbling along, earning its keep. My windows are shut and AC is on, and its a big place. The sound is not intrusive at all to me.
I love my neighbors, one did my area next to his to make it neat today. You can (beautifully) mow and weed eat! my area any time! We may have a different understanding than the OP does with her neighbors.
Hah. I have one for you. We have a large farm and one neighbor has a 1-acre lot. He mows both shorter and more frequently than we do.
And every time he does it, he uses our land to turn around–leaving big loops cut in the grass.
He has a zero turn.
It’s obnoxious, but the only time it was worth bringing up was when he let some kid mow and he scalped off about $20 of (blooming) flowers.
