Very long story short, due to incredibly painful nerve damage to my left kidney, it looks like I will be having surgery to have a neurostimulator implanted in early August (pending that the trial goes well).
Does anyone here have one? Or know of someone with one? Any words of advice?
I’m a little freaked out about the whole thing but I’m basically out of options in terms of pain management (other than living on narcotics the rest of my life; I’ve been on morphine for over a year). So far, everything I’ve heard is positive but it would make me feel better to hear that from a fellow horse person. :sadsmile:
