Can you still see the photos?
No, like everyone else, there’s just white boxes for me, too.
You want what I want. I dream of a three bedroom house with a dedicated office space that I can turn into my “library.” Then it’s one bedroom for me and the other two for the cats. And a bathroom large enough to share with cats. That’s my standard when looking for a house (or a car) - how many cats can I get in here?
Bat Coach, what will you do with the kittens? How will they find homes? Thru the rescue?
And what about the mama cats? I think I read earlier in the thread that Marlow will go back to the feral colony. What about Daisy?
Yes, the rescue has adoption events at local petstores and posts on Petfinder.com so they will be handling the adoption process when the kitties are ready.
After they are weaned, the kittens will go to a different foster home with more room for them. As of tomorrow, one litter will be 4 weeks old, and the other litter will be 5 weeks old on Friday, so we are entering the beginning of weaning and litterbox usage phase. Mama Daisy will probably go to the same house as her babies, since she needs some practice of living in a house so she can be adopted.

ugh! darn the photo server! I was hoping it would be magically fixed over the weekend. boo.
Kittens are doing great - very exploratory and getting into everyone’s business. The older liter (Daisy’s) is started to bounce around and roughhouse with each other.
Daisy is jumping out of the kennel and leaving them alone which is good - its great they she wants to cuddle and get head rubs and bond with me away from her kiddos. I can pick her up daily now, so I’m really eager to get her in a real foster home where she can get used to being a housecat in a room, rather than living in a garage.
Marlow is 110% over it. She can’t wait to flip me the bird and return to the colony. She can be aggressive at times and I think we both are counting down the days when we can be rid of each other. Her latest hobbies include emptying the litter box of all the clean paper pellets, strewing them all over the cage, food dish, water dish and floor, then peeing in the now-empty litterbox. Then her kittens play in it Other hobbies include leaping across the cage to attack my hand when I put in a clean dish with food. At least she no longer cares that I take her kittens away for an hour or so every day.
In a way I don’t blame her. She had to go to a scary vet twice, got loose in my car and has had a rough go of it for a feral. She and Daisy do NOT get along, so I don’t know if its aggravating to her to be near her and see a ‘rival’ mama cat or soothing to see a familiar face. I hope in about 2 weeks we can spay her and send her on her way.
Thanks for the update. In the Sheer Joy thread over in Dressage people are posting videos, so you might give that a try. You know, for those of us who need to get a life…
Think of all the misery that will be spared simply by spaying Marlow.
Some cats are born mommies and others…not so much. Like people.
Right click on the image and open in a new tab. Kitten fix success!
They are so cute it sort of stings.
That is not working for some of us.
Agree. My computer said it was an unsecured site and wouldn’t go there.
I also got the unsecured site warning but told my computer to proceed anyway and now I have all the pictures back appearing in the threads

@TheJenners found a way to get her naked burro pictures up. Maybe she’ll share the secret with you.
It looks as though they’ve found a workaround on the technical forum.
Right click on the image if you have it hosted elsewhere like FB, and select Copy Image URL or Image Link, then on COTH select upload from Web address and paste it in.
Probably only works from a computer and not a phone???
when I right click on the blue/green box, and say Open Image in New Tab, then I get Privacy Error, and click on Advanced, and then go to the IP address, and it pops up. Then with multiple pictures, like the adorable BatCoach kitty pictures, they all pop up fine after the first one.
I get a security warning when I do that, and being very much a dummy as far as computers are concerned I’m not comfortable ignoring it.
I hope everyone can post their photos like @TheJenners did. I wonder why it is taking so long for the tech folks to figure this out.
I would have to guess that they have to actually look at the problem first.
It sounds like they are busy with other stuff so forum stuff is on the back burner.
I just did this a few weeks ago with the neighbors tom cat who has decided he likes my place better… a local rescue was doing neuters with donations of cat food and scoopable cat litter so I signed him up. He’s so much happier and much less annoying… and he hasn’t left my barn since he’s a very good boy and I like having him around anyway…
I figured if anyone asked questions, I would just act stupid
