New barn with cupola but where do you get a fan?

Building a new barn and added a functional cupola to assist with ventilation. The builder said electrician should wire/supply fine. Electrician says builder should supply fan and he will wire. So looking around for a fan – where to go to find one that would work in a barn environment (dust)? All google responds with is the cupola itself which I have.
Thanks for any recommendations!

No experience, but this page: https://weathervaneandcupola.com/customerphotogallery-barns.html

Says:

Inside each cupola is a ‘BREEZA FAN’ model VG36DM 36" with a direct drive - 1/2hp - 1ph - 825rpm - single phase - TRI-blade.

Which is this:

I thought Cupolas were meant to vent hot air without fans.

The fan for my cupola was supplied & installed by the builder. All we had to do was wire it.

They did have to come back because once it was wired there was a knocking noise when the fan was running. The cupola had to be removed by them to get to the fan & fix the problem. Something doesn’t sound right, I’d check the contract with the builder.

Perfect – the fan is too large but now I know what to search for and found something that would work @ Grainger… Really just needed to make no mention of cupola :joy:.
Thank you!!!

Morton seems to install the fans… I went with FBI who apparently will not install.

Really, any livestock box exhaust fan should work? I’d look for a fully enclosed motor.

Have fun with your new barn!

www.farmtek.com is fab!!!

That’s so strange. I looked at my paperwork & it says it’s a 4220 cfm fan but I don’t know the brand. We have 10 speeds.
