Surmont- hunter/jumper barn, nice smaller facility, good turnout. Owner/trainer lives on premises Nice lighted outdoor ring. Local to A rated shows, owner and some other boarders also foxhunt w/ Potomac. Surmont.com
Bascule is another - but a big eventing operation. Owners are also foxhunters.- Potomac Hunt
Otasaga Farm another choice. H/J and eventing. Huge sand ring, small indoor, excellent turnout and care. Horses turned out in small group. Convenient to Potomac Hunt, Middletown-NewMarket Hunt. Owners also have a place in AIken where boarders can go twice a year - fall and late winter usually. Lytleshowhorses.com
Canterbury is another - in Boyds - nice outdoor and indoor rings, Mostly a H/J barn but some eventing, one of the trainers is also a member of Potomac Hunt Google Big Easy Farm for more info
Centurion - someone else mentioned, lovely facility… they’ve have several trainers in/out of there I believe there’s a good trainer working out of there there currently.
Destination Eventing might be another to try - its a bit bigger than some of others I mentioned save for Bascule
Most have some fields you can ride in - since theyre all close to Woodstock park and Loch Moy they trailer there for additional xc schooling.
