New Book for Horse/Human History Fans

While I haven’t read the book yet, Tim Winegard’s “The Horse: A Galloping History of Humanity,” his enthusiasm for horses is infectious, his facts seem mostly correct, and I thought some others would enjoy this interview with the author via The Eclectic Horseman.

Two books that I know Winegard had to have read in order to write this book you will be able to find new, used or in the library:

I’ve read the first (though it’s academic and it takes awhile to get to the horse bit, it’s worth the wait) and a sweet review of the second (just ordered it used) that I’ll attach.
