New BOT Deluxe Mesh Sheet - Anyone tried it?

My horses seem to love their BOT sheets, but I hate the way they fit. They slide back and bind up around the chest and withers. Naturally, after buying sheets for my two newest guys last winter, they release a newly designed mesh sheet that supposedly addresses the fit issues!

Has anyone tried it yet? Curious to hear if the fit is actually better. I don’t need new ones obviously, but if the fit is sufficiently improved I may be convinced to just bite the bullet and try to resell the others used.

I was looking at the Sienna for the same reason - my guy also doesn’t tolerate the BOT mesh sheets since it hooks behind his withers if left on for any length of time. Anyone tried the Sienna either?

Also interested to hear. I bought my guy a new BOT sheet to replace one that was slightly too small literally a week before the new ones were released, of course. But if they fit better I may spring for one next year.

The lack of response is making me wonder if I should just volunteer as tribute. We’ll see. Gotta get through what seems like an endless list of vet bills first. But I am very intrigued!

I do know a couple people with the new version (I have the old one too) but they haven’t had it long enough to know if it tends to stretch out and slide back like the old style.

I also have the Millie stable blanket (100g) which does fit much better than the old mesh sheets. I assume the new Royal mesh is a similar cut to that one, but I’m not sure if the fabric will still stretch.

FWIW, I see lots of the old style mesh sheets for sale, but none of the newer ones. Maybe it’s just because they’re too new, but I assume it’s people getting rid of the old style to upgrade to the new one because they fit better.

If SP starts carrying the new one, I will buy it and give it a try. I have a stupidly large store credit from them from failing to return things in a timely fashion.

Alas, I fear that SP is pulling back from this kind of item.
