New, but not really….Hi!

These are some of my domestic terrorists. This a rescue jack russell/chihuahua mix. She has the chi looks but the jack russell soul. She is the best resident mouser.

This is my other terrier mix rescue and his natural mohawk.

!

He was part of a litter of 3 found in a box. I rescue and work with a lot of dogs.

Love your post, but I do not miss slc. She posted alot “with authority” but didn’t know dressage much at all.

Did I miss something? I just asked a question as you mentioned many things that brought you to the forum but didn’t mention about your horses or riding interests so I was asking out of interest as a fellow dressage lover and also as someone who followed the NP threads since the beginning. It makes sense he would have seen you in the FB groups for classical dressage as he lurks in those places!

Not sure why the hostility as this is the first interaction with you on the forum :woman_shrugging:t2:

Your reputation precedes you.

Interesting that you chose to question a new poster rather than welcome and share with them.

What does it matter how he found her?

Ah, yes. Terriers. I’ve posted this one before but I have a Welsh Terrier, who is really a cross between a Tasmanian Devil and a Tribble. I have never laughed so much, or cussed so much about any dog I’ve ever owned.

Well you missed my reply to your very abrupt ‘welcome’ post that reeked of mistrust and came across as vereeee spiky.
If you didn’t intend it come across that way then, ok, but no, you didn’t ask me about my horses or riding interests you just asked if I was a dressage rider as if, god forbid, I was on here and wasn’t one. :scream:
Far from me to tell you what/ how to post, but if you don’t want to come across as being direct to the point of rudeness maybe use some emojis or go in a bit easier?
In case you are genuinely interested I have 3 lovely Iberian horses - did have four but lost my beautiful darling PRE boy a year ago, and an ISH ex -eventer trained by an Olympic gold medalist that was given to me after I did the rehab job of my life on him and fell in head over heels in love  He’s just a bit special
He’s absolutely not a pure dressage horse though - he got penalty scores higher than some of my percentages when he was competing!:rofl::rofl:
We’re working on it

Gonna weigh in here, but I find that comment unfair. Everyone has the right to express themselves whether you like what they say or not.

I saw nothing wrong with @Jealoushe’s comment. It is within her writing style. We all express ourselves differently. Can’t comment on why the OP found it prickly etc. amongst the comments from others, but that is up to her. She owns her reaction

In any event, pile on me if you wish, but I have nothing more to add to this conversation. Let’s not change a welcome to a new member into something else.

OP, live long and prosper. I hope you enjoy this forum

I’m not a dressage rider. Was given a nice dressage horse years ago. Tried it for months, don’t have the right personality to enjoy it or do it myself. Fortunately the horse channeled his inner Gem Twist and we went happily to the other rings. But I do enjoy reading through many of the threads here.

Do I have to leave? :flushed:

You said in your OP that you knew “some of us” were “blatant but woefully bad trolls” and that you’d been lurking long enough to know the players.

So you’d know that Jealoushe is not a member of the “illegal mob”, as you aspire to be. Isn’t it that your preconceived view of her caused to you read her post as “reeking of mistrust” and “vereee spiky”, even though it was a perfectly normal post?

How is asking you if you’re a dressage rider not asking you about your riding interests?

OMG they are so adorable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Your Mohicaned mixy looks just like my Patterjack, she has the same long nose and curly hair as your boy, I wonder if he has some Patterdale in there?!
They look like a lot of fun, thank you for sharing

Thanks! Anything is possible. I got a call from someone saying they found a liter of puppies, they were in a cardboard box and they put them in their garage. Not sure how they got the info, maybe neighborhood dogs, but they said they thought they were chihuahua, shitzu mixes. I could see that I suppose. There were 2 males and 1 female in the liter. One male looked very much like a short coated chi. The female had a little bit of fluffy hair but not a lot. The male I kept is the furriest. They have big terrier mouths/jaws, though. Not shitzu or chihuahua mouths. One day I may do a DNA test if I ever get curious enough (and can remember…)!

Thank you

I was genuinely curious OP as I stated you never mentioned your horse connection when joining but mentioned two threads on CoTH that are completely drama filled so I was curious if you were a dressage person or not as others have joined lately that are not horse people because of the one trial.

I meant nothing by it. I don’t know how you would think I did. Also we don’t tell people how to post on this forum and what writing styles to use. Lack of emojies doesn’t mean a post is hostile.

@KurPlexed I don’t even know you or have Interacted with you on the forum so not sure how you feel I have a reputation unless you have been speaking about me privately with other posters who here who hate me. Which to be honest would be super super weird lol I really can’t think of any conversation I’ve had with you! How bizarre.

It doesn’t matter I was simply curious as NP blocks most ppl not tries to add them. Not sure why you are so offended by these simple questions and feel the need to attack me. Seems extremely over reactive and out of left field.

@chestnutmarebeware has nothing to do with having to leave if you don’t ride dressage, the question was based on this being in the Dressage Forum. Why are you joining in on this is beyond me.

Excuse me for trying to get to know about a new posters riding interests. I thought that was one of the main things we did on this forum but it appears I’ve stepped into a wasps nest.

Welcome Op and I hope you enjoy the wonderful dressage forum here.

My post was tongue-in-cheek. Sorry you misinterpreted it.

Thank you for clarifying.

What? Of course we do! Quite a bit, actually.

And we shouldn’t.
