New County Velocity

I’m cross posting here from hunter/jumper as nobody replied …wondering if anyone has the new County Velocity…it’s supposed to be their newest hunter /jumper model …I was sent one to demo but aren’t sure if I like it enough to get …I would like any feedback …there isn’t any info on it anywhere on the County’s website and even when asking the County people I’ve just been given very little info on it …most I was told was that it has different balance points and different tree than Innovation and Solution’s …I’m a little perplexed because I messaged County on fb and they replied by telling me it’s one of their older saddles and not made anymore ???

I like to look things up and read up on them and there isn’t any info on the website on any of the hunter jumper saddles which is disappointing.

Hi! I did some digging and saw that my local County rep posted about trying the new Velocity on her IG March 2022, but as you noted, their website yields zero results. I don’t have any trial info to offer you, just some minor detective work. Maybe scope out their sponsored h/j riders to see if they have posted anyting on SM about trying it? good luck!

Thank you …so it looks like that was from last December …it’s been out for almost a year now …I got the impression that it was brand spanking new …just wish there was more info on it …seems like this saddle is used more so in Eventers than hunter /jumpers …it has an all purpose look to it more so than a close contact saddle??

I believe that it was added after they discontinued the Conquest model, and was meant as more of a XC/eventing saddle. That said, there is shockingly no information on it, even considering the fact that their website is extremely outdated.

Ok … Yes that’s the general feeling I have about this saddle… From a look standpoint it looks to be an all purpose/cross country eventing type saddle… When I sit in it it feels like I’m sitting in a chair different balance point than what I’m used two of my innovation and even my solution HJ… That’s what surprising me is that it’s their “” newest model however there is absolutely zero info on it
