Last opening cut in, started hanging the doors. I got the uppers done and one lower and I’m just pooped. They may be coming home Monday at this rate.

In the end, it’s best they didn’t come home today, we had some wicked storms. Wouldn’t have been a good welcome home…
The good news is my dutch doors are still on the building despite 60 mph winds. I used monster structural screws on the jamb side and through bolted the door side, theyre stout.
Scrubbed and filled the water trough for the first time this morning. It took 25 minutes notes in brain.

I boarded at a little training barn in HS. One day Tim went to bring in an appy mare who was there to be started. She was a sweet mare, very sensible. So sensible that when he got to her pasture, he hopped up on her bareback and rode her back to the barn in a halter. His wife and I did a double take when he and Sissy appeared in the doorway lol. First time anyone had ever sat on her lol
