Drat!
Well, you’ve done Right by his most recent Kindle!
Maybe the ingrate will get trapped yet
Oh no, the poor girl. Thank you for rescuing her and her kittens.
The girls were shy about coming out of their crates yesterday. Just a few quick circuits (except Polly, who has already been exploring). They went back to their crates, so I shut them in. This morning, I let all three out and they do know each other. I suspect Victoria is Louisa’s daughter. She purr meowed at her and capered around, drawing a little ire from Louisa. The cutest part is that they were slinging around and playing a little. I see how they are young kitties who never felt safe before. They like the workshop a lot. I secured their crates open with fresh food, water, and litter. Ralph, as is his habit, was let out first thing. He’ll be back at evening feeding.
The ladies went back inside their crates at the end of the day, before Ralph came home, so I shut them in. We’ll go at their pace. I want them to be ready for barn patrols. I also want them to interact with Ralph more before they head outside.
Part of that makes me sad - that they were just babies forced to grow up so fast. But the part that makes me happy is that now they get to live life as they were meant to and can play and do some of the things they missed out on.
We let Ralph outside and then the girls out into the workshop. Ralph wanted back in later for food and Louisa went after him. Then, little Victoria, who seems to like Ralph, went after Louisa. Peaceful Polly stayed out of it.
When things settled down, we let Polly and Ralph out to roam. Louisa and Victoria are staying inside today. It was their choice. It’s like a soap opera, lol.
Barn cat drama.
Polly wanted back into the workshop early. Hubby wants his workshop back, but he might have to share it with some determined cats.
The ladies would respectfully disagree and say that they were there first.
I am sure they have a name on a deed somewhere…
Is his adorable nose dirty or does it have a marking on it that makes it look like it is dirty? Whatever the answer…he is precious.
I am going to miss seeing these guys so much! And I’m not even really a cat person…
Three are staying, for now. They go in on the 19th to be evaluated for spay/neuter by the rescue’s vet.
It sounds like dh will have to share and be supervised by the kitties.
The babies are so cute. I’m going to miss seeing their pictures.
Oh my goodness! Is that what I have to look forward to in the near future?? How old are they in this video??
They are soooo adorable!
Right around adoptable age.
Three kittens left!
I love the ones with the pantaloons in the third picture! Or waders, depending on your perspective.
