New female announcer at Golden Gates! I think this a good way to “modern” racing up a bit, too, maybe get more female fans. I just heard her call a race on TVG - pretty well done and has a nice voice! 
Me? I haven’t been so impressed… a few whoopsies and kinda just don’t like her style of announcing.
Don’t get me wrong, great to see a female announcing, just wasn’t overly impressed with this one …
True, WMW. She doesn’t have it all ironed out but as she’s new to the position, that didn’t bother me much. I find her voice nice and think that is important. I only heard one race call so far, though. 
I realize she’s new and that GGF is giving her a chance but after Frank Miramahdi (sp) and Michael Wrona (who have also called recently at GGF and MW now the official Santa Anita caller), feels a bit of a step down. As well, each race caller brings their own “flair” to how they call a race and her’s, so far, isn’t working for me.
Having said that, I like Frank M more than Michael W and would have rather heard Frank get the SA job
Yeah so far I’m not impressed. I like to be able to know what’s going on in the race without watching and wthe her so far I have no idea. Hopefully she will improve.
I’ve listened more to her. Don’t mind her voice and more than willing to cut her some slack on errors as I know that is something that can’t be easy.
But, she’s too “chatty”… as jennywho said, want to know what is going on in the race and there is a bit too much “conversation” going on for my personal taste.
At least her delivery is getting more smooth… the first few times she was definitely hitting hesitant gaps and those are getting better along with the mistakes.
