Rode with the new saddle for the first time. What an amazing difference. He was so comfortable in his own frame; no pinched shoulders.
And we’re making real progress on his walk…he’s able to calm down and walk without jigging for almost 1/4 around the ring; the corrections at the end of our ride were more subtle than at the beginning. i.e. didn’t have to come to a complete halt. 3/4 halt is working. We’ll get to the half halt eventually. This big improvement was after only 3 rides. 
Judging by the nuzzles and kisses afterwards, he liked it too!
