I love the look of these new helmets but would these be suitable for the hunters? I am not someone who has 3-4 helmets to use to match different coats but I just love the way these look, am partial to the green one…

Very pretty, but don’t think they are suitable for hunter ring. In person the colors are very bright even from a distance - ie Georgina’s helmet (pic). Yes hers is red but the green is also quite bright.
If you just have to have the colors, go to the My Samshield section of the Samshield website and you can configure a custom helmet with many more options (ie darker options) for trim - the navy matte or possibly the darkest green would be more acceptable for hunters.
Mother eff! Why was that not around a few months ago when I was buying a new helmet! I just have a plain ol’ shadowmatte. I need the violet!!!

You would be paying $129 for colored trim. Same helmet, no color, $420. $549 with a touch of color.

I don’t think I’d get a colored one for hunters. I have two Samshields (and love them), but there’s some word that hunter/eq judges don’t like them because the glare off the shiny blaison. If that’s the case, going green may be distracting???
Nope, not really appropriate for the hunters. I feel your pain, OP, I really do, I just bought a plain Shadowmatte and I drooled over the ‘blinged out’ version and the colour options, but restrained myself, because I do the hunters and that is just not the hunter way
