My old microscope I got off ebay 7 or 8 yrs ago has apparently kicked the bucket. The 100x lens is messed up.
So, looking for recommendations from SOs who do their own processing.

Do you live near a college? At UNC they have a store that sells off older equipment (office, laboratory equip, etc). I have bought two of my microscopes we use at work there.
I found one that sounded good on a repro supply web site and bought one on eBay that had matching specs for about 1/4 of the price. It has served me well for about 13 years.
