The flagging one getting an error was new.
I still see old posts listed in the main page when the threads already have several more posts on them.
That feature is not listing new posts as they are posted, as the old site did and this one is supposed to do?
Happen to several threads in several forums today.
The developers are looking into that issue with not all of the most current posts reflected in the main page.
I’m guessing with the flagging issue, you might have been in the process of submitting an alert while I was deleting the thread, so it didn’t exist anymore by the time you sent it.
I’ve sent a couple queries about helping address the spammers that have been hitting the dressage forum so badly. Hopefully we’ll have that particular brand more effectively handled soon…I think we’re all sick of seeing those double comma thread titles!

That could have been, but the post was still there when I looked.
I didn’t go back again, figured someone else would report it anyway that was active in that forum.
Good that they are working on new posts showing up promptly.
That helps navigate, when we can see where there are new posts to read.
Practically all else is working very good, up to speed most of the time, zipping along and most are getting used to the new, bet most don’t remember much of how it was before by now.

Another “weirdness” (technical term 
) that I’ve noticed is that sometimes when I’ve replied to a post, waited for the ‘working’ to go away and visually see my reply and then go back to that thread and in the reply box being told that I have an unfinished reply and did I want to restore or cancel (I think are the choices). I’ve tried deleting all the contents and that doesn’t reset the restore/cancel. I have to cancel to clear the flag even though the actual post is there.
Strange (and doesn’t happen all the time but has happened more than once).
It does that to me sometimes too.
Me too, just delete it, is how it is stored so if you don’t post it and come back later, you have a second chance to post it.
I did that once, censored myself, came back later and it was still there, so went ahead and posted it and it worked.
Bluey, in my case, it was posted successfully the first time. The ‘working’ box went away and I saw the reply in the thread. I come back, in some cases, a few days later and get the Restore/Cancel thing. Restore does bring the stored reply back but I never ask it to Post Reply; I’ve only done Cancel and cancel doesn’t seem to really cancel it.
Just doing the Cancel when I get the Restore/Cancel seems to make the saved reply go away (which is what I want).
I went into my profile > User Settings and picked the ‘set to default’ for User Title (I did not like my modified user title anymore). It made me a Greenie. I believe the default for the amount of posts I have is not Greenie.
I do not particularly care that is says Greenie under my name, but this seems like a glitch.
Go back and uncheck the default for user title. I have nothing for my user title works for me better then going back to Greenie.
Thought about testing that out but decided against it. Don’t want to be stuck with the Greenie title,that would be just my luck too.
I think Greenie is kind of funny. I mean, people can look at my post count and know I have been around for some time.
I just figured it was a glitch that they might want to know about so it can be fixed. (Though the problem with the Today’s topics has not been fixed yet so maybe they are done fixing.)
I keep getting notifications for threads I have never subscribed to. I currently have 70. It seems like the site is subscribing me to every thread on the horse care forum…
I keep getting post not accepted because I am linking to all breed pedigree dot com, that is definitely not a spam web site.
I had same thing happening too. On the top right of horse health care section ,there’s a subscribe if that gets clicked on well your subscribed to horse care.
I tested that out used the default for user title and it put me as a greenie also. I have over 900 post so i’m working hunter. I went back an unchecked it don’t want to be a greenie. So there’s a glitch with that default for user title.

I forget where it was posted but if they are pre-current-forum-software threads, you were automatically subscribed to all of those. You can ask the mod to bulk unsubscribe you from all threads.

I am not sure we may call that a glitch, but it sure makes posting at times … disconcerting. :lol:
Well…yeah. The moderators have to approve those posts. So they come through as they’re cleared.
And as detailed in that thread I linked earlier, if you think one of those “unapproved” posts is taking too long to clear, you just have to PM mod 1. Because they don’t generate any notice, so it’s nice to give a heads up if you think there are no eyes on it.
