I cant seem to find a search function in the discussion forums. ??

It wasn’t working at 100% yet, and I have asked them to add a direct link to the advanced search, so it’s easier to access, but yes, it exists! Thanks, Simkie. 
Is that search for the whole site or just the forum?
Is there an advanced search (ie: what sub forum to search under)? Just using the box to the right that says search is not useful. It did not find a post I was searching for and I had to dig through the forums.
OMG, the search feature sucks now! Going out to Google gets better results for the forums than this crappy search engine.
As posted earlier on the thread, I don’t believe the search is operating fully yet, though it seems to be populating with more results than it did upon initial release.
Currently, to access the advanced search, you have to run a basic search (by entering your search term in the search field); after the results return, you can click on “Advanced Search” from the top of the screen. I’ve already asked them to provide a direct link to the advanced search.
I didn’t see anything for advanced search even when I did a basic search first. Now that you said it was there I noticed it is in a very strange location. “Advanced Search > Search Results” at top. I would have never seen that without being told it was there!
If you just click on the search button without adding search terms, it takes you directly to advanced search.
