New stallion crush: Qredit

I’m crushing… And coveting a Qredit baby (not that I could afford one right now, but a girl can dream… Right?).

Does anyone have any babies by him? How are they, athletically and temperament-wise? Did breeding him to a taller mare produce a taller baby? How are they doing under saddle?

Basically, show off your Qredit babies so that I can drool over them!

I’ve only handled one yearling. Filly, good movement, and a really friendly, curious temperament. And chestnut with chrome

I LOVE Qredit and have loved him since I first saw his photo years ago!! I wish so badly that I had bred to him that first year ($600 stud fee!), because I knew he would be something special!

Planning on breeding him to my mare this year! She’s an older maiden so fingers crossed.

I don’t have any of his foals but was at the inspection at Hilltop and while there were some really nice foals there, his really stood out.

I saw him at the 70DT, he is lovely.

There is one in KS, a yearling that is super nice and reasonable priced. I looked at him but he is going to be very big. He was as nice as the ones I saw at Hilltop at the Inspection.

I bred an Arabian mare to him and sold her in foal.

Here is the mare and filly:

I saw Qredit at Judy Yancy’s for GOV inspections. (Judy bred and then sold him) Loved him then and love him now, he is a very special stallion. I have had a love affair with Quarterback for many years, have loved all of the foals that I have seen by him. The only issue with Qredit is that he is huge! I am moving away from huge WBs as I get older.

I am a HUGE fan of Quaterback! Have seen many of his mares in Germany at mare shows, and literally all of them were above average. Not a dud in the group. Wish I felt I had the right mare for him.

Interesting, I did not find Qredit that big when I saw him at Hilltop (and I am an eventer so I don’t like BIG). I really liked his type. Granted, that was 2 years ago; he was only a four year old so perhaps he has grown quite a bit…? He certainly did not seem (at the time) like one of the larger stallions there.

What is the right type of mare for Qredit?
