This is very true. Do you need to save time with barn chores? Riding? Grooming?

If you’re referring to riding, I’m of the opinion that a rushed ride is worse than no ride at all. I had a friend who would come down to work her horse on her lunch break. She kept her tack in her car, drove up to the ring, led the horse from the pasture to the ring, tacked up the horse out of her car and hopped on for a 15 minute ride. This was a young horse without a lot of training, and this rushed approached did not benefit her. Often she was not able to end the ride on a positive note because she simply ran out of time.
I understand some horses need of be kept in fitness programs, but sometimes it’s better to lunge or work on simple skills when time is precious.
