Hello, I just relocated to the Bethesda area and I no longer have my own horse. I am looking to find something to half lease or full lease within 30 miles of Bethesda. I have 15 years experience, use to do the hunters in South FL and hunted with Middleburg hunt a few years ago when I lived in DC. I would like to lease a field hunter with the option to take hunting occasionally. I will take weekly lessons and don’t plan to jump more than 3ft. I am open to small private barns but would prefer being around other riders at a medium sized facility. There are few places that lease field hunters. Only place I can think of would be Surmont in Poolesville. Owner/Trainer sometimes has horses available for lease. Smaller h/j barn and she also hunts with Potomac Hunt. Though to hunt you’d have to be a guest or join the hunt
