Hello! I have just moved to Fort Lauderdale from the UK and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the dressage scene in the immediate area? I know we are about an hour south of the mecca that is Wellington, but are there any good dressage yards/barns in the Ft Lauderdale area? Or anywhere within about a half hour drive?
I’ve joined the South Florida Dressage Association and emailed them but had no reply, and I’ve been given the name Jule von Donop, but have so far failed to find any contact details for her.
In the UK, with help from a fab trainer, I produced and competed my own horse up to prix st georges level and am really looking for something to ride for the next few months while I decide what to do with mine back home. I’d love to hear from other dressage people in the area as there is no substitute for local knowledge. Thank you

I live in Wellington, but work in downtown Ft. Lauderdale (such a fun commute. /not). I think the closest horsey area is Davie/Sunshine Ranches, but I don’t know any dressage people there. Welcome!
