She has been part of the USEA hierarchy for many years, and I have worked with her in several different roles. She has always been sensible and easy to work with.

What everybody has kind of neglected for a bit is the base of the sport. We need to check in on them, and I guess I’m that check-in: How are you guys doing? What can we do to make you better? How can USEA make your eventing experience better? And that’s going to be the approach I bring for my presidency.

[Amateurs] are hugely important. [They’re] the financial base to the whole sport.

I also appreciate that she has evented in what I think are less-dense eventing areas (5 and 7). I’m in 2 but knowing what some of you in other areas have to go through just to do a few events, you deserve representatives that understand the challenges!
