Where is the open thread for problems? There still are some.
Such as:
Ghosting is still a problem with the drop down sensitive menus.
As a subscriber to the magazine, I still like to access it on line. It’s a nightmare to get back to the Forums! Am I missing something or is the only option hitting the back arrow? I really liked the old version much, much better.
Please advise.
In addition to what I posted previously, I need to know how to prevent the online versionof the magazine from locking my computer up when I look at it. Happens all the time.
Very un-user friendly getting back to the forums as well.
You can return to the forums either by clicking on “Forums” from the “Join Our Community” box on the right side of the page or from the “Voices” drop-down menu at the the top of the page.
Are you perhaps on dial-up service? That may explain why you’re having trouble with the magazine locking up. We’ve added a “Dial Up Users” tab at the top of the menu for each week’s issue, where users on a slower connection can opt to download a pdf file of the magazine instead of using the new reader.
Last I heard, we haven’t had any luck reproducing the ghosting issues in the menu bar being reported by a few users. Please contact erin@chronofhorse.com, so you can discuss the specifics directly. Just a guess, but if you are on a slower connection, it could possibly be an issue related to that.
