NexHA (generic) vs Legends....tell me your experience

My vet today suggested my boy, who will soon be 17, go on a Legends routine. In doing some research I came across the NexHA. The last thread about this here was from a year ago, so I am curious to know what people thoughts are on the NexHA if it works as well as Legends? My horse currently gets his hocks injected and tends to have body soreness issues, so this would be a monthly injection.

Anyone have more long term reviews???

I’ve been using NexHA instead of Legend since it came out and have been very happy. It is a true generic (using the term the way they do for human medication not marketing of horse supplements).

I use it in combination with Adequan, periodic chiro and ice boots after hard jumping sessions so there are a lot of factors in play. This routine is to manage my 1,360 lb. teenage high adult jumper so he’s got a lot of physiological stress to manage.

I did a series of 3 shots, one vet doing the first two with Legend and another vet doing the third with NexHA, and my only complaint was that somehow 2nd vet managed to charge me a lot MORE for the NexHA than first vet charged me for Legend (which was already something like $85/shot).

I have no reason to believe it’s not a comparable product otherwise.

same thing, acc’d to my vet who is a genius…
