I can’t remember the actual title of the show…something like that… With Robert Dover? Where can I find a synposis of who won it, etc. And…what they won? Without buying a video?
America’s Search for the Next Riding Star… all the episodes are avaliable on Youtube. The prize was to be Robert Dover’s assistant.
That was a fun show. What ever happened to that girl?
I looked on youtube and couldn’t find a full episode only small bits and pieces that didnt show any thing important, but found a link on offieldfarms.com site, also tons on americanequestrianstar.tv It was a super great show. It was fun to watch when it was on tv and i was happy to see that you could buy and watch it online so now I can share it with my barn buddies that didnt see it when it was on tv.
Come on now guys (and you must announce it with a touch of a lisp)
America’s Next EQUESTRIAN Star
America’s Next Equestrian Star:Dressage
hi ! The show is making its way around the world. Slowly. Stay tuned for some news of its next broadcast! The winner spent an amazing season as Robert Dover’s assistant …if you haven’t seen the show yet I don’t want to give away the winner… It was a great experience for everyone that was involved with the show - most likely life changing for all the contestants. There is a promo of the show on www.americanequestrianstar.tv and some nice photos of the kids. The biggest compliment we got from our viewers was that it really appealed to all members of the families - even those that weren’t interested in the subject…it was fun and compelling ----and all about horses, what could be better.
Thanks for asking about the show, Karin Offield
Thanks, Karin O, for the information.
I watched it with non-dressage family members. It is the very first dressage program that they truly enjoyed. They didn’t understand things like “ride half halt to half halt” but they did understand work ethic, the opportunity and Mr. Dover’s drive to find the best of the bunch.
Thanks…
Karin - A big thank you for doing a show like this, we never missed an episode. My father would come over and he, my husband and myself watched it. It was amazing to watch for me and they were very entertained and learned a lot more about what I do and how much is involved in my ‘hobby’. So thank you again Karin!
Thanks for doing such a great show. I’m a hunter person and I was glued to the tv when it was on. I hope more shows like that to follow.
I don’t have cable, so I watched the show as best I could through Youtube.
I was really mesmerized by the segments where Robert is instructing. He was amazing! His passion and knowledge really shine through. Has anyone considered putting out a DVD with extra unaired material of the lessons the participants received?
I’d buy it.

Actually Brendan Curtis has my mare in training with him right now, getting her ready to go be someone’s hunter. He trains out of our barn with Jim Koford. And let me tell you, he is one HELL of a rider.
Brendan also has my 3 yr old Fuerst Heinrich/Rotspon daughter in training since the end of July. He rode her to a third place finish at DAD this year. He is a supurb rider/trainer. He is working on getting his gold medal and recieved his first GP score this past weekend.
Becca Vick has her own training business in Southern Pines, NC and is also a wonderful and talented trainer/rider.

I really want them to make another season of the show… or mix it up and make America’s Next Eventing Star
